Thank you Aunt Gina for the Wonderfile. Obviously the need to organize things is genetic, I mean how many 8 year old are excited to have a wonderfile! Actually Avery was jealous. Julia already has things "filed." Who needs a wii when you can have a wonderfile!

Dick gave Alex and old camera to add to his collection in his office. Its probably from the early 80's. Alex was teaching Julia how to use it etc....he thought she broke it because it wouldn't snap a photo....turns out there was film in it...from when who knows.....its getting developed right now, the suspense is killing me!

MRI day thru Julia's eyes

I brought our small camera for the MRI. I told Julia in case she was bored and wanted to take photos, she looked at me like I was nuts. But as we were leaving she asked for the camera and took some photos....an MRI day through her eyes.

cookies for kids

Julia came home from school on Friday announcing that her and some friends at lunch decided they wanted to have a bake sale and sell hair braids on Sunday. Well, after we talked she realized Sunday was too soon and that we needed to wait for warmer weather. Then I remembered a foundation called cookies for kids, where you can hold your own bake sell and donate the money to cookies for kids which funds research for all types of pediatric cancers. Think the Alex's Lemonade Stand of bake sales. So we are planning one...for May when Glad will match all of their donations. Calling all bakers and helpers out there!! Her MRI is tomorrow. Keep us in your thoughts.

sinus infection and the money jar

sinus infection for me. $168 for 5 pills so I can have a rum drink by saturday. Also our money jar, been hoarding spare coins and cash since October for the trip..... grand total, $555, not too bad!

owlie

You can tell its warmer out when the girls rescue owlie. He's a plastic owl who is suppose to live by the pond to keep the herons from eating the fish. The girls think he's a pet and want to keep him inside. So this is where I found him over the weekend, in the middle of the living room with a towel around him. Who needs American girl dolls when you've got a good old fashioned plastic owl, right?

guess what we found!

the lost leapsters of last spring have been found! I thought I left them at Hopkins after Julia's second pneumonia, but my mom found them and you'll never guess where?.....In the wood box at the condo at 7 springs.....I am guessing Avery was being helpful in helping us clean up before leaving the condo last spring and stuck them in there, and no one has made a fire since, until last sat when she opened it up and tada....here they are. So.....anyone need a leapster?
