Julia came home from school on Friday announcing that her and some friends at lunch decided they wanted to have a bake sale and sell hair braids on Sunday. Well, after we talked she realized Sunday was too soon and that we needed to wait for warmer weather. Then I remembered a foundation called cookies for kids, where you can hold your own bake sell and donate the money to cookies for kids which funds research for all types of pediatric cancers. Think the Alex's Lemonade Stand of bake sales. So we are planning one...for May when Glad will match all of their donations. Calling all bakers and helpers out there!! Her MRI is tomorrow.
